Free Tuesday Facts At a Glance:
- Tickets are free and must be reserved in advance online at descansogardens.org/tickets, by phone at (818) 949-4200 or in person before the desired Tuesday. No tickets will be available at the Gardens on Free Tuesday.
- Tickets are available three weeks before the date of Free Tuesday. Reservations for the May 21 Free Tuesday will begin at 10 am on April 30.
- All visitors—including infants—need a ticket.
- Descanso Gardens members do not need a ticket.
- Members of other gardens that participate in the Reciprocal Admissions Program must reserve a free non-member ticket.
- Tickets will be scanned for entry and can only be used for the date and time printed on them.
- Tickets are limited to 6 per household; those reserving more than 6 tickets will have all additional tickets invalidated. Ticketholders must be present with the entire party in order to enter the Garden. Descanso Gardens staff may request identification from the ticket holder.
- Food and picnicking are not permitted in the Gardens; however, you are welcome to use the picnic area adjacent to the parking lot.
- We cannot accommodate tour groups/buses on Free Tuesday. For group availability on other days, contact grouptours@descansogardens.org or (818) 949-4202.

Founded as a public garden in 1953, Descanso Gardens is located at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011. Descanso Gardens is open daily (closed Christmas) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9 for adults; $6 for seniors and students with a school I.D.; $4 for children 5 to 12, and free for ages 4 and younger.
